After having a terrible experience at Academy in Hickory, I drove down to Dunham. I found a large selection of guns including the two S&W’s I wanted to compare. The staff and the manager were very kind and helpful. They have some strict policies in their gun dept. but I understand why. They had a bit of a rush of customers while we were there and some of them got upset. People are so impatient these days. We had one rep tied up with our gun purchase so they sent another rep over to help and the manager even stepped in for a while. We were in there a while, but I was able to compare guns side by side and make my decision. I wasn’t even able to look at one at Academy The staff did a great job. We were happy wit our experience at Dunham.
Customer service is TERRIBLE. I am only leaving this review after 3 horrible experiences!!! I have tried more than twice, the third time has me writing the store off for good. Associates at the registers never have a clue, management does not have time to properly take care of customers. I suggest that NO ONE shop at this store. I will gladly drive miles to get my merchandise somewhere else. Also, whatever you do, don't take a coupon into the store that has that specific location listed on and think you will be able to use it...EVEN after you have read the fine print over and over to know that your purchase is valid. This store is nothing but a waste of space in Shelby NC
Wanted to buy a pair of shoes and stood at the shoe department for 10 minutes and never had any help after that
Awful, rude, malicious management. Plus there is never anyone to help with customer service and if there is you have to wait 30 minutes for them to find someone better equipped to do the job and assist.
Had no troubles, got what I wanted and got out in about 15 minutes
