The Cleveland County fair is pretty decent sized, especially considering what all Shelby has to offer. There's a decent amount of rides, food, games and entertainment when this fair comes to town for two weeks every year. It's almost tradition if you live in Shelby to go to the fair when it comes to town.
My wife and I have been coming to the Cleveland County Fair for 8 years straight now, since we first started dating. We absolutely love it!! Best thing to do is play Fat Albert. Such a fun game!!
A much larger Fair than you would guess. During different days there are different deals, often for armbands (unlimited free rides). DEFINITELY try to go when it's not crowded.
Love it! The food is the best thing there! I love the ole fair foods! Kids love seeing all the animals. Kids love the rides of course!
Very many new rides; got to meet the local sheriff there! Had several halls set up with a variety of things for sale. Got LLR while I was there! Huge variety of foods and great friends. Security was excellent! Fairground workers were very polite. Had state troopers helping with traffic! Love the fair! Just too expensive!
