This is quite possibly one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a medical facility! I'm not sure if this is the standard of care and professionalism in this area, but the lack of help or responsibility is disheartening. I requested a simple refill through the online portal which was prescribed outside the practice. I called the next day(Friday) to check on it and was met with a very rude and smug explanation that refills take up to 48 hours. Not a problem, I left myself a weeks worth of medication. I waited an extra day and called again on Wednesday. The person I spoke to this time transferred me to the doctors nurse who was unavailable and I left a message. I didn't get a call back so I went to the doctors office and requested an update. They sent a message to the doctor and said the pharmacy should get it tomorrow(Friday, a week later). Still nothing! Now I am out of medication. I call again, and I am transferred to the doctor's nurse once again, but this time someone answers. I explain what has happened and the amount of calls I have made. The woman on the line says she will send a message to the doctor. So I advise her they have already done that, I came in yesterday talked to someone up front and they sent a message. I asked if I needed an appointment or is there anything else I need to do. She gets mad at me and says she not the doctor's babysitter and to stop yelling at her. I never raised my voice and only tried to explain my situation and what I can do to help get my medication. It's a prescription for omeprezole, heart burn medication, no controlled substances or anything. I have made a new appointment at a different practice. I even left a message with the outpatient manager at the main office and received no call back. Based on my experience and other reviews this practice doesn't care about any of its patients. I'm guessing it's not all the doctors fault as he seems like a nice guy but the office staff is the worst. Go somewhere else, anywhere else, what a nightmare!
