Dr Smith was amazing!!! He saved my dogs life. She was really sick and almost dead and her regular vet gave me NO HOPE for her I took her to Hope Animal Hospital for a second opinion, and she is still with us today. I will never take my animals anywhere else. All of the staff was wonderful, helpful, and caring they made "Belle" feel comfortable and talked to her as they worked. Spent time explaining to me the things that were wrong and what needed to be done to help her. I can also honestly say this was the cleanest Vet's office I have ever visited. If you choose Hope Animal Hospital, you will definitely be glad you did.
My cat has been experiencing some medical problems so I took him to another vet in Shelby. I was very displeased with the care he received there so I took him to Hope Animal Hospital. Dr. Smith and the staff were wonderful to my cat and to me. They explained everything to me and offered different methods to treat his condition. When we went into the exam room instead of jumping in and examining my cat they took the time to pet him and talk to him in soothing voices. He'd had a terrible experience at the other vet's office and was noticeably stressed. After a few minutes he calmed down and began to really enjoy the attention from the staff. Dr. Smith gave him the treatment he needed and I can already tell he is feeling better even though he just saw them this morning. I have another cat and a dog and I will be using Hope Animal Hospital for all of them from now on. The prices were very reasonable too. I've already recommended them to several friends who are looking for a new vet for their animals.
