I just moved to town. Had to get some mini blinds and stuff for the house. They were out of the size I needed. I was really disappointed. Usually when you ask someone in a big store...(where I'm from) you can almost guarantee the employee is just giving you lip service and won't go in the back and look. I couldn't find anyone in the department to help me. I found 3 employees standing around in Electronics. I asked the chubby guy to page someone to housewares to help me. He said he would. About 5 mins went by no one came to help me. I went back to electronics and the guy started making excuses so I just walked away. I found a woman putting up furniture. I asked her to get someone to help me. She got a hold of JOYCE right away!! Joyce proceeded to tell me Walmart was out of the sizes I needed ...but they may be in the back and she would go and check. Not only did Joyce come back with what I needed she added good advice as to installing them. THANK YOU JOYCE!! When I got to the cashier I had the pleasant experience of winding up in ANN MARIE'S line. She was so nice and helpful with local advice ect. Please thank JOYCE AND ANN MARIE for making my shopping experience a great one!! I'll be back thanks to employee's like them!
This is a pretty decent store, though I've had some bad experience with Wal-Mart. Once at a Wal-Mart, we were there and leaving about 10:45 p at night with buggy piled high with groceries. The manager was running the ONLY checkout lane open. Now in this particular store, the clothes are at the very front. She saw a coming with a full buggy and said, "I'm outta here," and took off running and she hid in the clothes...
This particular Walmart has a good manager who sincerely tries to provide good customer service. He does a good job with this store. There's a noticeable difference between this Walmart and some of the others I've visited.
I had a chance to observe the SM walking through the store and greeting each one of his employees and customers. I was blown away by the joy and energy from his employees. I would also like to thank the supervisor back in the hunting department. He made some great recomidations and got me what I needed. Walmart is not always a fun place to shop but this store truly feels like a mom and pop store... thankyou
I visited this store on several occasions now. They have basically everything you need in one store, even access to gas. Crafts, foods, medicine, Christmas supplies, clothes, home appliances, tools and so much more! Handicap parking available and riding buggies- all for your convenience! Love the store!
